This project is perfect for a child’s first learn-to-sew project. I named it “The Instant Gratification Pillow” because each time I would have children make it they were always so amazed that they could sew. The pattern is easy to cut. There are a series of folds and only two straight seams. There is no hand sewing. They will enjoy picking fabrics and giving these as gifts to family and friends.
1/2 yard of fabric
Thread to match
12X12 pillow form
Rotary cutter, mat, and ruler OR cutting board, 18” ruler and tissue paper
Basic sewing kit
Sewing machine (Janome Sew Mini works great for this project)
Point Turner (optional)

Please be patient while it downloads. Although it is easy, my instructions are detailed for the non-sewer or beginner with lots of photos.
