Summer has begun and I have been cleaning house (my blogging house.) I have been doing some research and updates. I wanted to share with you some of my favorite resources I have found and have been using.

BUILDING A FRAMEWORK
Building a Framework: The Ultimate Blogging Handbook is a book I read recently. I could not put it down. I realized all the things I was doing wrong. I have just started implementing the suggestions in this book and have seen immediate improvements to my blog. I hope you will notice more changes coming soon. If you have thought of starting a blog or want to get your blog out of a rut, please consider this book.
If you’re reading this blog, chances are you’re a pretty creative person. As a creative person, you need to know about CreativeLive. CreativeLive is an awesome online space featuring workshops in photography, video, crafting, design, business, audio, music and software training. Anyone can watch live online workshops — for free — and interact with instructors in real time. Just today, you could have joined a free course on studio photography lighting, Photoshop effects or sewing details.
Right now, I am loving these classes:
You may have thought of Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores as a place to only buy fabric, but it is so much more. I am discovering it is a great place to find storage solutions for my home office and craft/sewing supplies.
When I took a look at my desk (where I spend a good part of my day) I noticed it was so boring. Paper Source is my rescue. Right now, I am loving this Planner and these file folders.
Let me know if you try any of these resources. What are your favorite blogging resources? Leave me a comment below.
