17 Lord, you know the hopes of the helpless.
Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them.
As we begin 2013, it is customary to write out resolutions. I like to set goals instead. As I went out for a walk yesterday I took this photo and felt the presence of God in his awesome creation. My goal is to spend more time in God's presence and prayer.
I pray for you, my readers, who are in the midst of child rearing little ones, who have teens, or have older children. I pray that God to give you new worth in being a mom. I pray for those of you who feel alone. May God bless you abuntantly for a job well done. May he give you perserverance even when you feel like nothing you do matters. I pray that God give you the perspective and wisdom to do his will and the energy to carry it out.
I pray for your children and that you may get to really know them. I pray you know when they are hurting inside and needing attention. I pray they have good friendships and good role models.
I pray for your husband and that you understand his needs. I pray you see when he takes a back seat to the children's needs. I pray for strength in your marriage.
I pray that YOU pray also for your children and your husband.
