"House and wealth are an inheritance from fathers,
But a prudent wife is from the Lord." Proverbs 19:14 (NASB)
As we are preparing for the last of our gift giving, keep in mind to be the "prudent wife".
What can you give that is from the heart?
A pillow made out of your child's favorite outgrown t-shirt. See Good Things Come in Small Packages.
Doll pajamas made from scraps of fabric and an old t-shirt. (If you have pajamas that are too long, make doll pajamas from the cut hem.) See Pajama Party.
A doll bed quilt made out of your stash of scraps.
Make simple tissue packs for friends to keep in purse or backpack. See Tissue Pack Cover.
Make a camouflage vest for a well loved bear. Stuffed toy clothes are easy if you use existing clothes as a pattern.
Give the gift of sewing by hosting a sewing class or sewing party. See Apron Making Party.
Simple gifts from your kitchen are always welcome. Also read Traditions Continue.
These are brownies cut into squares and placed onto muffin cups with the edges folded up. They are then stacked and placed into cellophane bags. This can be done with a stack of cookies as well.
Easy way to repurpose last year's tags:
Take a folded tag that has been used.
Cut along fold from both sides of string. Tear off written part (back side) from string.
Write message on your new tag.
Attach tag along with a ribbon onto your brownies or other baked goods.
